Fight Like Fury

Recently, a good friend of mine told me he had Hodgkins Lymphoma, a particularly nasty type of cancer. It was a real shock. 

 

He is a normal bloke in his 30's, happily married and with no previous health problems. Over the last 9 months, he has been going through treatment with varied results and he continues his fight today...

 

This is not unique - People are going through these types of struggles all over the world.

They are people I know personally, family and friends of people I know and people I don't know, from all walks of life... and it got me thinking... 

 

What the hell can I do? I'm not a doctor; I'm not an expert; I'm not wealthy...

 

So, I wrote and recorded a song.

And then I got it on iTunes.

 

It's about the 'fight'... the fight against the crap life throws...

 

I'm hoping this song can help my mate fight and inspire other's to fight too.

 

My first goal is to sell 1000 copies of the song. This is to help my mate create some more memories with his family– to get away and have some respite from the weight and worry.

 

 

The more copies that are sold over and above the target 1000 will then begin to benefit various organisations and charities involved in supporting and caring for the ill or disadvantaged. Maybe we can sell 2000 copies? Maybe 5000?? Maybe 100000!
